Hi there! My name is Jenna, and I am the owner and Nurse Injector here at Rural Beauty. I am 25 years old and Haliburton has been the place I’ve called home all my life. Following graduating college from St. Lawrence College and becoming a Registered Practical Nurse, I then began working full time in our local ER/Acute Care department (which is where you will still see me today when I’m not injecting!)
Beauty has always been a desire of mine since I was a little girl. In summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to start working at Beauty Basics alongside Amy and the best group of ladies, who also share a similar passion as me. These ladies helped encourage me to open my eye into the aesthetic side of nursing!
In October of 2021 I completed my training in performing Dermal Fillers & Botulinum Toxin procedures- then came Rural Beauty!
Rural Beauty is ran alongside Beauty Basics which allows me to continue to perform other aesthetic services that I love. Microblading, waxing, lash lifts/tints, and facials are all some of the other services you may see me perform! I am also very fortunate to be working with and learning from Christine Wickson, NP of Boost Clinics. Clients will have the pleasure of meeting our knowledgeable Medical Director Christine when having their first consultation! Boost Clinic also offers amazing training opportunities, which allows injectors like myself to continue their education in medical aesthetics. These training opportunities give us knowledge in the best and most safe techniques as well as allow us to introduce new services into our practices.
My promise to clients is to always be transparent and to continue to educate myself in this ever-growing field to ensure clients are getting the absolute best and most safe services. I also promise to provide a safe space where clients can experience support and encouragement do what will make them feel their best!
